Ask Danny — cookies and browser storage in plain English

Ask Danny uses browser storage to keep the app working, remember your choices, and save guest history on your device. If you sign in, Google Firebase may also use browser storage as part of authentication. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data for targeted advertising.
If analytics are enabled, Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers to measure how the site is used. Where the law requires consent before optional analytics are stored, we will ask first.
A cookie is a small piece of data stored by your browser. Websites can also use similar technologies such as localStorage and sessionStorage. This policy covers all of those browser-storage technologies together.

You control browser storage through your browser. You can delete Ask Danny's stored data, block cookies, use private browsing, or use a tracking blocker. Blocking all storage may sign you out, erase guest history, or stop some convenience features from working.
You can use the app's Clear history control for saved guest jobs, or clear cookies/site data for diagnostechai.com through your browser settings.
Browser privacy controls and common tracking blockers can prevent analytics requests. If we add a consent control for optional analytics, your choice there will take priority for those technologies.
We may update this policy when Ask Danny adds or removes services that use cookies or similar storage. The date at the top will change when we make a material update.
